Judy Rutkowski, DVM
Dr. Rutkowski received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1984 from Ohio State University after earning a B.S. in Biology at the University of Maryland. In addition to her post-graduate education, she completed a large animal surgical internship and residency in 1988 at the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious New Bolton Center. Dr. Rutkowski and her daughter Rachael have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, several cats, and thoroughbred horses which she enjoys riding and showing competitively.
Elena Sawickij, VMD
Dr. Elena Sawickij received her Veterinary Medical Doctorate in 2000 from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her B.S. in Dairy and Animal Science from Penn State University. She has special interests in preventative health care and small mammals. Dr. Sawickij resides in Quakertown with her husband, Aaron and two children, Wyatt and Guinevere. They have two cats, Chase and Angel, adopted from the Upper Bucks and Lehigh County Humane Societies, and a rowdy boxer named Utah. She is an active member of the Cub Scouts of America where she serves as her son’s Pack Committee Chair. Her hobbies include reading mystery and science fiction, hiking and fishing.
Daniel Belitskus, VMD
Dr. Belitskus is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to entering the veterinary field, Dr. Belitskus earned his first Bachelor of Science degree at The Pennsylvania State University in Business Logistics and served for seven years in a manufacturing environment. His special interests include zoo medicine and exotics. Dr. Belitskus lives with his wife, Angela, and sons, Daniel and Dylan, as well as three cats, Baby, Calico and Marco Polo. His hobbies include running, hiking and ornithology, and simply enjoying time in nature with his family.
Lora Mengle, DVM
Dr. Lora Mengle received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 from Ross University after earning a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and minor in music performance from Miami University of Oxford, OH in 2007. Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, ultrasound and exotic animal medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing, jewelry making, knitting and yoga. She resides with her two parakeets (Gummy & Chimera), two cockatiels (Petrie & Pearl), a bearded dragon (Sobe), and a rescued German Shepherd (Lady).
Bethany Bankovich Mihalik, CVPM, MHRM, CVT
Bethany joined the team in 2011 after serving as an Account Training Manager for Vetstreet, the Animal Health Division of MediMedia USA, and Practice Manager of both the East-West Veterinary Service and the American Canine Academy LLC of Denver, CO. She earned her B.S. in Communications from Clarion University of PA in 2004, M.H.R.M./M.B.A. from Saint Francis University of PA in 2006, A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology in 2010 from the Bel-Rea Institute in Denver, CO, and Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) credentials in March of 2015. She is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians and the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. She resides in Allentown with her husband, Mike, lovable rescued mutt, Tickers McSnickers and feisty feline, Tuna T. Fish. She enjoys competitive swimming, traveling and the great outdoors.
